Just tested and resolved with the following process. In the case that you migrate a system or some other sort of anomaly causes an issue with Outlook to where it shows no search results this is how you fix it. • First start by Removing the account from outlook. • Go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts • Select the account and then select the minus button. I do not know what is causing it but I do have a solution that has worked 100% of the time when it does happen. The following commands do fix it, as posted by someone else in another thread. I believe the key line may be the never_index_metadata line. (haven't been able to replicate the problem enough to narrow things down).
