Darinpf Economical solution for card scanning I spent $25 for an annual subscription and that seems like a good deal given costs for similar solutions. The plus side- fast scanning, simple intuitive interface, export to excel. The down side- from the first 10 cards I scanned, only 2 picked up the email address and it seemed that several didn’t pick up the name of the organization. And, if you find you want to upload a contact without a business card, you have to go into settings and select the “create your own business card” option and just use that feature to add other contacts without cards. That’s not as intuitive as the rest of the interface. All in all, my hope is I will be collecting hundreds of cards this way and making it easier to upload into Salesforce. I haven’t tried that yet.
You can access these in the Cardiris™ software by going to File > Load Card images and navigating to this location and selecting all or selected cards. Anyone with other ideas for getting bulk (multi-selected) already scanned business cards to Gmail or Outlook feel free to shout out! Grrr is right. There is no normal, sane way to get contacts scanned from business cards via Evernote into any normal, usable format. I wish I'd know that before wasting my time doing it for 100-some odd business cards from a conference.
I think the world would stop revolving if MS Excel were to disappear. Both MS Word and MS Excel have been part of my core tool set for decades. The desired capability to export to an Excel or CSV file is readily available via Outlook running under Windows (and, I presume, Macs, too). Here's how I have done it a couple times in the past. • Scan business cards using the iOS version of EN. (I don't know if this will all work with Android devices.) • 'Save to Contacts' as described by Crick above). • Under Windows, synchronize the Contact records on your iOS device with Outlook.

Also knowing where and when you ingested the card is terrific.
There are only two downsides. First, Wantedly People only recognizes the default contact fields including name, email, address, and phone number.
